Codebar – Introduction to Hardware Edition - 2014

This is a special hardware and Q/A edition of Codebar, a biweekly coding and website development workshop aimed at women, LGBTQ and people otherwise underrepresented.

Sponsored by Madgex

During this special Digital Festival edition of Codebar, we will have two special activities:

Digital Careers Q&A

Codebar has gathered a variety of professionals in the area of ‘Digital’ to help students find out about how people got jobs in Digital and what kind of interesting things they do day-to-day.

Come along and ask questions about anything that intrigues you about working in the world of digital!

Introduction to Hardware Interactions

Learn basics of interacting with hardware through Arduinos using Javascript to take control of a variety of inputs and outputs. Warning: flashing lights, crazy sounds and awesome times are expected.

There will also be free Pizzaface pizza kindly provided by Madgex. Vegan and Gluten-free options will be available.

What is Codebar?
