The 2014 Brighton Mini Maker Faire promises to be bigger and better than ever with more than 70 makers and workshops and close to 4,000 visitors expected to attend the Corn Exchange on the 6th September.

Brighton Mini Maker Faire is the interactive festival of creativity and invention. The 2014 Brighton Mini Maker Faire promises to be bigger and better than ever, with more than 70 makers and workshops and close to 4,000 visitors expected to attend.

Praised as one of the most interactive, innovative, educational and fun family-friendly events of the year with activities for all ages, this year’s event will include a wide variety of makers who will be  sharing their skills from arts and crafts, technology, electronics, music, engineering, DIY, wood- and metal-working.

Antweight combat robots, a walking skeleton, DIY portable sound systems, underwater vehicles, 3D chocolate printing, live-action Pac Man, toy hacking and a homemade electric car are just some of the highlights in store for visitors. As usual, there are workshops for everyone, including soldering, woodwork, felting, knitting, papercraft, robotics, weaving, bookbinding and more. And don’t forget to look out for the roving Daleks and members of the Star Wars Rebel Legion.
