A digital comics workshop exploring the pros and cons of putting comics on-line. Surface Impression presents Bambos, a comic book veteran and co-creator of the award winning on-line comic Aces Weekly, who explores the huge potential of the medium both in-print and on-line.

Can traditional media transition into new media? Can in-print promote on-line or vice versa? What is the best digital model for comics? Will digital comics take a new, bold direction or follow in the wake of traditional comics? Who is stronger, Superman or The Hulk? To explore these and many other issues come along to this workshop, which will include a question and answer session.

Bambos has worked in the comic industry for almost thirty years and co-founded a traditional comic company (Acme Press Ltd) as well as an on-line comic company (Aces Weekly). He has been a publisher, editor, writer, artist, inker, letterer, teacher  and student of comics and has worked for both UK and American publishers.

In this workshop he will share his experiences of setting up an on-line comic in a field where there are no rules and no experts.
