The dSCAPE/07 Designer's Night showcased work from new and established creatives – a kind of giant show and tell! We had 10 designers presented their work to the audience Each presenter had twenty images, and each image was shown for 20 seconds. Presenters spoke along with their slides.

  Hamish Makgill is the director of StudioMakgill, a new design and branding consultancy based in Brighton. In 1996 Hamish Makgill co-founded and Brighton's Red Design. In 2004 he left Red to work for numerous agencies in London. Until September this year he spent the last two years as a senior designer at BB/ Saunders in London. He is very happy not to be traveling up to London everyday.

  The Prawn, of composers Mogul & the Prawn, has many aliases. He has appeared on, written or remixed songs by The Black Tulips, Waster, Sweary Fairy and others. He owns PinPrick Records and co-founded analogue/digital art movement The Contrarists. This presentation was about the vast and beautiful possibilities for music in Web 2.0.

  Colin Jenkinson is the Design Director for Cogapp. He's been a graphic designer for over 12 years and worked on projects with the team at Cogapp for the British Museum, V&A, MoMA, BBC and the National Portrait Gallery.

Founded in 1985, Cogapp is a pioneer of the digital media revolution specialising in work that generates high value, long lasting and innovative results including web sites, interactive installations, mobile applications and electronic publications.
