Eoghan studied in IADT, and is one of the founding members of the Irish animation collective, Delicious 9. During the four years working with this group he collaborated over 50 different projects, ranging from video installations, design, live audion visual performances, visual sets, curation, children's workshops and 25 experimental music videos (several of which still end up on late night MTV slots, 16 of which were commercially released by Domino Records and Leaf Records). In 2005, Eoghan wrote and directed his first short film Stars, which picked up Best Animated Film at the 2005 Galway Film Fleadh, and a further 7 awards on the festival circuit. After further work on commercials for Coca Cola, Hard Working Class Heroes Festival & The Den/The Ark co-production Save That Robot, Eoghan left the Delicious 9 collective in 2006.
Eoghan is currently developing an animated feature film as writer/director (Irish Film Board & Still Films)- an adaptation of the 1960 science fiction novel 'Rogue Moon' by Algis Budrys. He is a member of the Darklight Film Festival Committee and recently composited the Oasis music video for "The Masterplan" for Brown Bag Films. He recently created short live action pieces, holding animation workshops in Palestine and touring his live animation visual performance with musician Neil O'Connor and his band Somadrone. He has also directed a new live action music video for Les Bien and has been producing short internet based experimental pieces and performed live internet mashups at the Leeds and Reading festivals in England.
Eoghan currently sits on the advisory board of the Irish Screen Directors Guild.
