Julia Horbaschk is a photographer and acredited lecturer. Julia specialises in social documentaries, editorial, portrait and travel photography. Published work includes: BBC World News, Marie Claire, Location Location Location, Wavelength magazine, Hotshoe International, British Journal of Photography, The Observer, Exploco, Travelbite, Ideastap and more.

Julia has been a freelance photographer since 1998 and has been contributing to the Brighton Photo Fringe since it's beginning in 2003. She is also a trustee of the Brighton ArtsFORUM. She has been lecturing and running photo workshops for 10 years.

Julia holds a Masters in International Photojournalism, a PGCE (post compulsory) and a BA Editorial Photography. She is interested in informal life long learning.
